CHESS EVENTS

1911. Czechoslovakia, one of the largest round robin tournament in the chess history organized at Carlsbad ended with the victory of R. Teichmann ahead of A. Rubinstein and K. Schlechter. The event attracted 26 contestants who played 325 games. 
1956In Moscow, once again the Soviet Union proved its superiority and won the 12^th Olympiad with 31/44. Yugoslavia finished second after tiebreak.
2000 IM O. Cherikov from Russia won the World Senior Championship. Ms. Fatalibekova from Russia won the Women’s World Senior Championship.
