DEATHS

Eugene Chatard (1850-1924), French player known for giving his name to a variation of the French defence: the Alekhine-Chatard Attack. He was the first who compiled thousand of endgame-studies, analyzed tons of endgame-position.
Victor Goglidze (27.11.1905-1964), was a strong Georgian International Master.
