DEATHS

Janos Flesch (30.09.1933-1980), a Hungarian International Master. He is best known for claiming a world record simultaneous blindfold exhibition when he played 52 opponents in Budapest in 1960.

1985 The match between J. Timman (NED) and M. Tal (USSR) for the 4^th qualifying place from the Candidates’ Tournament finished 3-3. J. Timman qualified for the next stage by superior tiebreak.
