Jozsef Szen( 1805-13.01.1857), a Hungarian Master who was the in the top 10 world best players of his time.
Berthold Englisch (1851-19.10.1897),  a leading Austrian chess master.
Peter Lukacs (1950), a Hungarian Grandmaster, author and coach who was Hungarian Champion in 1980.
Fernando Braga (1958), an Italian Master born in Argentina who won two Italian national titles.
Aloyzas Kveinys (1962), a Lithuanian Grandmaster who won the Lithuanian championship 5 times.
Lewan Aroshidze (1985), a Spanish Grandmaster born in Georgia who won a silver medal at the World U10 Youth Championship.
