1910 Germany. World Champion E. Lasker defeats K. Schlechter in 10th match game to retain the world title. Schlechter was leading 5-4 before the last game. A draw in this tenth game would have been sufficient for Schlechter to get the title. The game lasted 3 days and more than 11 hours
1996 Deep Blue won its first game against a world champion on February 10, 1996, when it defeated Garry Kasparov in game one of a six-game match.
