Yudovich, Mikhail Mikhailovich (08.06.1911 – 19.09.1987)
Russian International Master (1950), International Grandmaster in Correspondence Chess (1972), International Arbiter (1951). He was the deputy to the chief editor of the magazine Shakhmaty v SSSR in 1945-87.
Best results: Moscow championship 1934, 2-3rd; Moscow championship 1937, 3rd; USSR championship 1931 3-6th; Ussr championship 1964, 4-6th.
Was the winner of the seventh USSR Correspondence Championship in 1965-66.
Author of The Gambit, The Soviet School of Chess.
Best ELO: 2400 in 1978.
