Xu, Yuhua (29.10.1976)

Xu,-YuhuaChinese Grandmaster (2006) and Woman Grandmaster. The 2006 Women’s World Champion. Graduated in law. She reached the top rank in the women’s list by winning the 2000 and 2002 World Chess Cup. Graduated in Law and Master of Literature, Chinese Linguistics.

Best results: won the title of Asian Junior Champion in 1996 and finished third in the World U20 the same year, was also second in the 1999 Zonal, won the Huangzhuang Cup Chess King (CHN) and Chess Queen Tournament (CHN) in 1998 as well as the Women’s Asian Championship in Malaysia in 1998 and the Women Grand Prix Nanjing 2009.

A member of the Chinese women’s team which won three times the gold in the Women’s Olympiads of 2000, 2002 and 2004.

Best ELO: 2517 in 2006.
