Philippine Grandmaster (2000), coach and trainer. Vice President of ASAN Chess Confederation. Philippines Champion in 1994 and 1998 and Vice Champion in 2001. Silver medal in the Asian Junior 1986 and Philippine Junior Champion in 1986. Member of the National Team which won the Asian Games in 2004 and the club which won the Asian Cities in 1995 and 2004. Columnist for the Manila Times. Won Abu Dhabi 1996, Bali GM, Vietnam GP 2000 and Zonal 2000. Has participated in the 2000 World Championship and in the Olympiads in 1994 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2004. Best ELO: 2560 in 2001.
