Brazilian Grandmaster (1998). Lawyer. Brazilian Champion in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010. Brazilian U10 Champion in 1987 and 1988, U12 and U14 in 1989 and 1991 and U18 in 1991, 1995 and 1996. Panamerican U12 Champion in 1989, U14 in 1991 and U16 in 1993.

Best results: won or shared first in the Quilombo Open 1993, Bermuda Open and Zlin Open 1995, CXSP in 1997, Villa Martelli 1998, Zonal 2001, Bermuda 2002 and 2003 and Four-way tie in Bermuda 2004, San Paolo 2005 and 2008, Continental championship 2011.
