Romanian Grandmaster (2001). Bronze medal in the World U12 in 1993, World U14 in 1994 and World U18 in 1998. Vice Champion of Romania 1998 and 2002. Best results: Bucharest Primavera 1998, 1^st; Ciocaltea Memorial 2001, 2^nd; Budapest FS 2001, 2002 and 2004, 1^st ; Timisoara Cup 2005, 1^st; Hilton Basle 2006,1^st -9^th; and 2007,1^st -2^nd. He participated with the National Team in the Olympiads of 1998, 2002 and 2006. Best ELO: 2592 in 2003.
