Slovakian Grandmaster (1980) originally from Russia. Russian U18 Champion in 1966. Was awarded a bronze medal for the best individual performance at board 3 in the European Team Championship in 1997. He has been living in Slovakia since 1993. Won the tournament in Sobota 1974, Polanica Zdroj 1976, Varna 1977, Slupsk 1979, Helsinki, Tallinn and Vilnus 1989, Budapest 1991, London LB 1992, Avoine Open 1993, Agios (GRE) 1997, Leonardo (ITA) and Padova 2000. Participated in the Olympiads for the Slovakian Team in 1996 and 2000.
