Thorhallsson-Throstur Icelandic Grandmaster (1997). Real estate broker by profession. Vice National Champion in 1993 and 2003. Won or shared first in Gausdal Peer Gynt Open 1995, Wrexham 1998. Also second in Hafnarfjordur Open 1995. A regular participant in the Olympiads since 1992. Best ELO: 2510 in 1997.
