Polish Grandmaster. Graduated in economics. Polish Champion in 2008. Rapid Chess Polish Champion in 1998. Vice champion of Poland in 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007.Polish U16 Champion in 1994 and Polish U18 Champion in 1995. Best results: Krakow 1995, 1^st; Pardubice 2001, 2-5^th; Lasker Memorial (POL) 2002, 1-2^nd; San Domingo Open 2004, 1^st; Acropolis B 2004, 1^st; Cork Congress 2005, 1^st; Biel MTO 2006, 1^st; Polanica Zdroj 2007, 1^stOpen; Béthune Open 2010, 1^st. A member of the national team since 1999, he was awarded a bronze medal for the best individual performance at board 4 in the 2000 Olympiad. Bartosz is married with Grandmaster Monika Socko.
