Best results: Dutch Youth Champion U20 in 1992, bronze at the European Youth U20 in 1991; fifth at the World Youth Championship in 1992. Silver at the Dutch Championship in 2008 and bronze in 1998. Winner of Wijk aan Zee B in 1998, CVCT Wijk aan Zee in 2007 and Batavia Chess in 2020.
