Przepiorka-DavidPolish strong Master and chess composer. Chief editor of the chess magazine Svyat Shakhovy during the period of 1926-33. Vice-President of the Polish Chess Union since 1926. FIDE Honorary member. Polish Champion in 1926.

Active in tournament play from 1904-31, he obtained his best result at Munich in 1926 when he won the first prize (+4, =1) ahead of Rudolf Spielmann and Efim Bogoljubov. He took second place to Max Euwe in the 1928 World’s Amateur Championship and played in two Olympiads in 1930 and 1931. Also finished second at Györ in 1924, at Meran in 1926, and at Haag in 1928.

During the Second World War, he was present at a forbidden meeting to Jews at the Warsaw Chess Circle. The Germans arrested him and sent him to concentration camps, where he was murdered.

Historical ELO: 2470. As a chess composer, he had published about 160 problems since 1896, mostly two- or three- movers of a logical style.
