Best results: won or shared first at Rome 1979, Plovdiv 1979, Rome 1982 and 1983, Balatonbereny 1983, Prague zl 1985, Copenhagen 1985, Szirak 1985, Warsaw zl 1987, Leon 1989, Budapest 1989, Balaton GM in 2005.

A participant in eight Olympiads from 1980 until 1998 where he collected one individual gold medal for the best performance at board 5 and a team silver in 1980.

The author of 1000 Minor Piece Endings (2007), 1000 Queen Endings, 1000 Rook Endings (2007), 1000 Combinations, The Great Book of Chess Combinations (2012).
