Pervakov Oleg (08.04.1960)

Prominent Russian chess composer, Grandmaster for Chess Composition (2005), who has become famous for his study works. Journalist and columnist at the Russian magazine 64 (Moscow). He became twice World Champion being a member of the Soviet and Russian teams. (IV, VII WCCT), silver prizewinner of the World Championships in 1989-94 and 2001-2003. Selected studies are collected in the book 64 Majestic Studies(Holland, 1995).
