Dutch Grandmaster (2004) and Women’s Grandmaster born in China. FIDE Instructor (2011). Best ever Dutch women’s chess player. Chinese Women’s Champion in 1987, 1990, and 1993. Since 2000, she won fourteen times the Dutch Women’s Championship. She was awarded a gold medal for the best individual result at board 3 at the 1988 Women’s Olympiad.
Best results: Shared first at the Women’s Interzonal 1991, Pozarevac, 4th; Groningen Women Candidates 1997, 3rd; European Championship 2002, 3rd; shared first at the Women’s European Championship 2004.
A participant in 2000, 2001 and 2004 World Women’s Championships. A participant in the 1992 and 1994 Olympiads for China and since 1998 for the Netherlands.
