Niemann John (19.04.1905 – 22.07.1990)

German composer, author of 500 problems with a preference for helpmates. Chemist.

He was awarded the title of International Judge in 1958 and Master Honoris Causa for chess composition in 1986.

Author of Echo im Hilfsmatt (1950) containing 375 helpmates and Wenigsteiner im Hilfsmatt (1977).
