Andrey Vovk, Andrey, (1991), Ukrainian Grandmaster. He is the brother of Andrey Vovk.

1974 In Moscow, the Candidates’ Final Match in Moscow between Anatoly Karpov (USSR) and Viktor Korchnoi (USSR) finished with 3-2 and 19 draws in favor of Karpov. Karpov was qualified to play R. Fischer in 1975.
1992 E. Geller (RUS) won the 2nd World Senior Championship held in Bad Worishofen, Germany.
1996 E. Sutovsky (ISR) and Zhu Chen (CHN) won the World Junior Championships for Boys and Girls in Medellin, Colombia.
2015 At the 25th World Seniors Championship, in the 50+ section the winners were GM Predrag Nikolic (BIH) and WGM Galina Strutinskaia (RUS). In the 65+ section, the winners were GM Vladimir Okhotnik (RUS) and GM Nona Gaprindashvili (GEO)
