DEATHS

Nikolay Krylenko (1885 29.07.1938 A Commissar for Justice, Krylenko was involved in Stalin’s purges in the 1930s. Krylenko headed the Soviet chess from 1930 until 1937.  Arrested by the NKVD, his trial lasted twenty minutes, he was found guilty and immediately shot.
