Paul Keres (1916-05.06.1975), an Estonian Grandmaster and chess writer who was was among the world’s top players from the mid-1930s to the mid-1960s but never reach the final stage of the World Chess Championship.
Ivan Georgiev Radulov (1939), a Bulgarian Grandmaster who won four times the Bulgarian Championship.
Reynaldo Vera (1961), a Cuban Grandmaster and FIDE Trainer who was Cuban Champion in 1997 and 2001.
Sergey Ionov (1962), a Russian Grandmaster.
Sasikiran Krishan (1981), an Indian Grandmaster who won few national championships and the Asian Individual championship in 2003.
Luke McShane, Luke(1984), an English’s leading Grandmaster who won the 1992 World U10 Championship. He was the youngest-ever British player to achieve both the IM title (at age 13) and the GM title (age 16).
Aleksander Mista (1983), a Polish Grandmaster who was three times Polish Junior Champion.

DEATH

Eero Book (09.02.1910-07.01 1990), a Finnish Honorary Grandmaster, engineer and author who was five-time Finnish Champion.
Harry Golombek (1911-07.01 1995), an English Honorary Grandmaster, journalist and author of many famous chess books, including ‘A history of Chess’ and few on World Chess Championships.
Elaine Pritchard Saunders (07.01.1926-2012) an English Woman International Master who was World Junior Women’s Champion in 1936 and 1937 and won few British Women’s Championships.
