Bozidar Kazic (06.02.1921-07.05.1996), a Yugoslav player, International Arbiter, author and a journalist.
Miso Cebalo (06.02.1945), a Croatian Grandmaster and Senior FIDE Trainer who became World Senior Champion in 2009.
Antonio Antunes (1962) a Portuguese Grandmaster and national Champion.
Leonid Milov (1966), a Unkrainian Grandmaster.
Hans Tikkanen (1985), a Swedish Grandmaster who won the Swedish championship in 2011.
DEATHS
Ludek Pachman (11.05.1924-2003) a Czech Grandmaster who was seven times champion of Czechoslovakia. He was a prolific journalist and the writer of over 80 books.
