Mari Alberto (13.06.1892 – 25.08.1953)

Italian composer. He was one of the first European composers to be a member of the “Good Companion” School from where he won the championship in 1924.

He was the first to draw the attention to the typical forms of the play-change in a two-mover problems.

L’Alfiere di RE and L’Italia Scacchistica. His name was given to two Chess tasks for mate in two moves.
