Lundin-Erik-RubenSwedish Grandmaster (1983), one of the strongest Swedish player in the 1930s to the 1960s. Nordic Champion in 1937, eleven times Swedish Champion.

Best results: Gothenburg 1931, 1st; Stockholm 1934, 1st; Erebro 1935, 2nd behind Alekhine; Ostende 1936, 1st; Munich 1941, 2nd-3rd; Bad Gastein 1948, 1st ; Zurich 1952, 1st; in the zonals: Helsinki 1947, 5th-6th; Marianske-Lazne, 1954, 7th. In a match, he beat Spielmann in 1933 (+1=5).

Lundin has participated in nine Olympiads between 1933 and 1960 and was awarded one bronze and one silver medal for the team result in 1933 and 1935.
