Russian Grandmaster (1991) born in Uzbekistan. World U18 Champion in 1990. Champion of Uzbekistan in 1982 and 1984 and vice champion in 1983, Champion of St. Petersburg in 2001, 2004 and 2005.

Won or shared first at Pavlodar 1987, Starozagorsky Bani 1989, Budapest 1990, 1991, 1993 and 1995 Oberwart 1993, Ljubljana 1995.

A participant in the 1992 Olympiad with Uzbekistan where he was awarded a silver medal for the second best performance at board one.

Loginov has retired from international chess since 2009. Best ELO: 2610 in 1994.
