Kumaran Dharshan (07.06.1975)

English Grandmaster (1997). Kumaran was the British Champion in 1993 and the World Champion U12 in 1986.

Winner of Wagner Memorial in 1995. Kumaran was a very talented and promising English junior chess player but he didn’t want to be a professional chess player and so has seldom played since 1998. Later Darshan gave up chess to become a doctor.
