Koneru-HumpyIndian Grandmaster (2002) and Woman Grandmaster (2001). Koneru was the 2019 World Rapid Champion, the World Girls U20 Champion in 2001 and runner-up in 2002, World U10 Champion in 1997, World Girls U10 Champion and World Girls U12 Champion in 1998, World Girls U14 Champion in 2001 and the Asian Girls U20 Champion in 2000.

In 2000 Koneru won the British Ladies Championship, becoming the youngest winner of the British Ladies title. She repeated her victory in 2002. After winning the World Girls U14 championship title, she became at the age of 14 the Asia’s youngest Woman Grandmaster.  In 2002, at the age of 15 years, 1 month, and 27 days she broke another record by being the youngest woman to receive a Grandmaster title. It was three months earlier than Judit Polgar’s previous record. She was the youngest female Grandmaster and the world’s youngest Grandmaster at that time.

Koneru won or shared first at Hotel Lippa (HUN) 2001, Budapest FS GM 2001, Asian Women’s Championship 2003, Indian Women’s Championship 2003, Chennai Open 2004, North Ural Cup 2005, Differdange Open (LUX) 2007, Mumbai Major Cup 2009, Snezenky a Machri (CZE) 2010, Doha Women Grand Prix in 2011Skolkovo Women Grand Prix in 2019, Cairn Cup St Louis 2020.
A member of Monaco’s team which won three times the European Women, Club Cup. Twice semi-finalists at the World Women Championship in 2008 and 2010.

Peak rating: 2623 in 2009, in 2007 she was the second-highest ranked female player in chess history.
