Klaric’s major victories include: Monte-Carlo and Montpellier 1977, Vinkovci 1978, London 1979, Linz 1980, Timisoara and Caorle 1982, Thessaloniki Open 1984, Angouleme 1986, Pula 1987, Montpellier 1988 and Geneva Open 1989.

Klaric was a member of the Croatian Deaf chess national team which won the gold at the ICSC Deaf Olympiad in 2010.

The author of My Game in 1983 with Garry Kasparov and Drazen Marovic.

Peak rating: 2480 in 1985.
