Khurtsidze was the World Girls U20 Champion in 1993 and 1995, World Girls U16 Champion 1991, World European U20 Champion 1999 and ( times the Georgian Women Champion. Khurtsidze died of cancer.

Best results: Tbilisi Women Zonal 1993, 1^st; Essen Open 2004, 2^nd, Georgian championship 2009 and 2010, 2^nd.

A participant in four Women Olympiads between 1998 and 2008.

Peak rating: 2469 in 2007.
