Chinese chess Grandmaster (2014) is born in Shanghai, China.
She is the current Women’s World Chess Champion (17th Women’s World Champion). She became the fifth woman to cross the 2600 barrier in March 2017. Women’s Chinese Chess Championship (2010, 2014).
Best results: Ju Wenjun placed third in the Asian Women’s Chess Championship 2004 in Beirut. This result qualified her to play in her first Women’s World Chess Championship in 2006. She competed in this event also in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015 and 2017.
