Romanian Grandmaster (1998). Former General Secretary of the Romanian chess federation.

Best results: First equal at the 1999 Romanian championship and third in 2001. Winner of Ljubljana Open 1983 and Agra festival in 2004. Also second at Bucharest Supercom 2002.

A participant in 8 Olympiads between 1986 and 2000.

Peak results: 2545 in 1995.
