Spanish Grandmaster (1996). Spanish U20 Champion in 1991 and equal first at the 1993 Spanish championship.

Best results: Leon Open 1996, 1^st; Paretana 1999, 1^st; Francesc Alsina Memorial 2000, 1^st, Vallfogona Open (ESP) 1997 and 2001, 1^st.

A participant in the 1996 Olympiad and in the 1997 European Team Championship.

Sadly, he was diagnosed as having a brain tumor a number of years before his death.
