English International Master (2005) and Women Grandmaster (2000). Graduated in Law. British Women Champion in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2016. European U20 Champion in 2000. Commonwealth Women’s Champion in 2001.

Best results: 3rd at the European Girls U20 in 1998, 3rd at St Vincent Zonal in 1999.

A participant in the Women Olympiads since 1998, she was awarded a team bronze medal at the 2001 European Women Team Championship. ECF women player of the year in 2006. Her elder brother is also an International Master.

The author of Caro Kann (2007), Scandinavian Defence (2009) and Dangerous Weapons: The Caro-Kann(2010, with John Emms and Richard Palliser), Opening Repertoire. The Caro-Kann (2015).
