Hauchard is the world record holder of the longest blitz game (5 minutes) simultaneous. He achieved the performance in December 2007 playing without interruption for 83 hours and 30 minutes and 631 games (613 wins).
Former French women national coach and national men coach in 2010, he was also coaching Maxime Vachier-Lagrave many years.
Accused of cheating at the 2010 Olympiad, FIDE suspended the player for 3 years.
