Haring Jacobus (30.03.1913 – 25.02.1989)

Dutch problemist. International Master for Chess Composition in 1968 , International Judge for Chess Compositions in 1964. He has composed 800 problems in two and three moves. Author of Schaak..maar raak (1969). Three hundred of his works were published by Bert Kieboom in the book300 Schaak Problemen van Jacobus Haring (1984). In 1990 he was awarded the title of Grandmaster for Chess Composition posthumously.
