Grasemann Herbert (21.12.1917 – 21.06.1983)

German chess composer, promoter of a Logical Composition School. International Arbiter for Chess Composition (1957).

Editor of chess columns in the magazines “Schach” 1947-61, Deutsche Schachzeitung 1950-62, Deutsche Schachblatter 1962-83.

The author of the books devoted to the creativity of the German problemists. He has published more than 200 problems (mainly many-movers), most of which marked with merits at the competitions.
