Gorgiev Tigran Borisovich (30.08.1910)

Ukraine International Judge for Chess Compositions (1956) and International Master for Chess Composition (1969). He specialized in the genre of artistic problems with bright duels. He composed 150 studies from which 33 were awarded a gold medal. Gorgiev was awarded the title of Master of Sport of USSR in 1959. Author of Selected problems (Moscow, 1959), Chess problem in Ukraine (in co-authorship, Kiev, 1966).
