NIGHTRIDER
A fairy chess piece, a rider, that can make several knight-leaps in the same direction and so attack 12 squares (4×3). On a diagram, it is represented by an inverted knight. The fairy piece has been invented in 1925 by the British founder of the fairy chess T. R. Dawson.
