A group of chess problem composers in England who in general emphasized variety of play and stressed accuracy of consruction to the point it becamme a fetish and quite Victorian. Among the members where Charles Plank (1856-1935), Benjamin Laws (1861-1931), Arthur MacKenzie (1861-1905), Thomas Taverner (1856-1928) and later Comins Mansfield and B.J. Andrade.
