Gilberg Charles Alexander (17.06.1835 – 21.01.1898)

American player and problemist who composed 300 problems. Two hundred of them were published in the book Crumbs from the Chessboard in 1890. Also published Chess Nuts in 1868 and The fifth American Congress in 1881.
