Geuzendam Dirk Jan Ten (1957)

Dutch chess journalist. Graduated from Groningen University (English Language and Literature, General Literature). Editor in Chief of New In Chess (from 1996, started to work for the magazine in 1985). Weekly columnist at the Dutch weekly Vrij Nederland from 1994 to 2002. Occasional he wrote chess articles for the Dutch daily NRC Handelsblad. The Captain of the Dutch team in at the Olympiads in 1990 and 1992.

The author of: Finding Bobby Fischer (1993), Tilburg 1997. (1997), Donner memorial (1997), Linares! Linares! (2001, originally published in Dutch as Het Geheime Wonder in 2000), The Day Kasparov Quit (2006).
