Garcia Palermo Carlos H. (02.12.1953)

Italian born-Argentine Grandmaster (1985), FIDE Trainer (2013) and a lawyer.

Best results. winner or shared first at Havana 1986 and Camaguey 1987, both Category X, Havana 1985 and Benasque in 1985, Forli 1998, Andorra, Ponferrada in 1989, Zaragoza and Cadix in 1991, Madrid B 1994, Canete 1994, Braganca Paulista Open 1997, Benasque and Valle D’ Aosta Open in 2005.

Living in Europe in the early 1990’s he participated in few tournaments without major success. Then a few years later, he moved back to Argentina to work as a lawyer.

A participant in the 1992 and 2002 Olympiads with Italy, in 2006 with Argentina.

Peak rating: 2550 in 1986.
