Best results: won or shared first in Sibenik 1989, Kecskemet Open 1990, Moscow GM 1992, Forli Open 1997, Bozin Open 1998, Monaco Masters 2000. Also second at Reggio Emilia 2001, Milano Crespi 2003, Avier Open 2004, Reggio Calabria 2005, Trieste Open 2006, Montecatini Open 2008 and 2010.

A participant in the 1998 and 2000 Olympiads with Italy and since 2006 with Monaco.
