Norwegian Grandmaster (1996) and International Master in Correspondence Chess. Graduated in Computer Science from Olso University. Co-Norwegian Champion 2000. Norwegian Junior Champion 1985. He is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft Development Center.

Best results: Won Gausdal Masters 1994, 1995 and 1996. Also he got mentions at Politiken Cup 1997, 4^th; Golden Cleopatra 1999, 2^nd-4^th; Norwegian championship 2003,2^nd.
A member of the Norwegian national team from 1988 until 1996.
