Enver Bukic (1937), a Slovenian Grandmaster (1976) born in Serbia, Slovenian Champion in 1993 and in 1998. About 25 years ago when he was coaching in Kuwait, he became blind due to some exotic tropical disease.
Jan Rusinek (1950), a Polish Grandmaster of chess composition and a mathematician.
Carlos Garcia Palermo (1953), an Argentine-Italian Grandmaster and coach.
Anda Safranska (1960), a Latvian Woman Grandmaster.
Hans Johner (07.01.1889-1975), a Swiss International Grandmaster who won six titles of Swiss Champion.
Al Rakid Abdulla (1980), a Bangladeshi Grandmaster who won the Bangladeshi Chess Championship in 2013.
Joshua Friedel (1986), an American Grandmaster who won the United States Open Chess Championship in 2013.
