Davies Nigel Rodney (31.07.1960)

Welsh Grandmaster (1993), journalist, coach, and author.  British U21 Boys Champion in 1979.
A former member of the English and Israeli chess federations. Davies has been also involved in Martial Art and Rugby.

Best results: won or shared first at Ramsgate 1982, Lisbon 1985, Hastings II 1986-87. Linares Open and Oslo in 1987, British Rapid, Budapest FST 1988, Oslo 1988, Wrexham 1993, Katrineholm 1995, Gausdal and St Vincent 1997, Blackpool Premier 2003.

Peak rating: 2540 in 1995.
