Darga Klaus Viktor (24.02.1934)

German Grandmaster (1964). German Junior Champion in 1951 and joint first with O. Panno (ARG) at the World Junior in 1953.  West German Champion of 1955 and 1961.

Best results: Second at the Zonal Tournament at Enschede 1963, and 11^th at the Interzonal tournament at Amsterdam (1964). He won Madrid 1957, Bognor Regis 1960, equal first at Palma de Mallorca 1965, joint third at Winnipeg 1967 with Boris Spassky and Paul Keres.
Darga represented West Germany in the Olympiad on ten occasions, He retired as a chess professional and became an computer programmer for IBM.
