English Women Grandmaster (2004) born in USA who was living for some years in Honk Kong then moved to England. Student. Hong Kong’s ever youngest national champion in 2004, 2005 and 2008, co-champion in 2006. Asian U14 champion in 2004, British U11 champion in 2002, U12 champion in 2003 and joint U14 champion in 2004.
Best results: Susan Polgar National Invitational for Girls under 19, 1st; Budapest FS09 IM in 2007, 1st; Honk Kong championship 2007, 3rd. A participant in the 2004, 2006 and 2008 Olympiads.

“I love chess and I’ve been lucky to pursue my passion. It’s also been an incredible opportunity to travel to many countries, experience different cultures and meet a lot of interesting people,” she said. “The competitive lifestyle is tough and you have to grow up a little faster, and maybe miss out on some of the typical teenage experiences, but I think the trade-off has definitely been worth it.”
