Croatian Grandmaster (1985) born in Zagreb, professor of foreign languages, and journalist. FIDE Senior Trainer. World Senior Champion in 2009. Joint first Yugoslav Champion in 1985.

Best results: Won or shared first at Biel 1975, Athens 1977, Val Thorens 1981, Opatija and Caorle 1984, Kavala Zonal in 1985, San Bernardino 1987 and 1988, Bern 1988, Zagreb 1990 and Reggio Emilia III 1991, Zagreb 1993, Bled and Portoroz 1994, Maderno 1996, Turin and Pula 1998, Pula 2000, Reggio Emilia 2002.

A participant at the 1992 and 1994 Olympiads with the Croatian team. He was also a bronze medallist for the board performance at the 1966 Student Olympiad.

Peak rating: 2570 in 1995.
